TAEMIN, a member of the legendary group SHINee and one of the most influential K-pop artists of the past two decades, will perform in Romania at K-POP Days NIBIRU, the first festival dedicated to the K-pop community in Romania. The artist will take the stage on August 1–2, 2026, at NIBIRU Arena, Costinești, in what is considered a defining moment for the development of the K-pop scene in Romania and Eastern Europe.
The announcement was made on June 1 during a special event organized for Romania’s K-pop community, which brought together more than 2,000 participants. The moment marked one of the largest gatherings ever dedicated to this cultural phenomenon at the local level and demonstrated the strength of a community that has grown steadily in recent years. The public reaction to the reveal of the festival’s first confirmed international artist turned the event into a milestone for Romania’s K-pop scene.
Taemin is one of the most respected and influential K-pop artists globally. Known both for his work with SHINee, one of the groups that helped popularize the genre internationally, and for his successful solo career, the artist has stood out through a distinct artistic identity, complex performances, and a level of performance that has made him a reference point for the entire industry.
Recently, after signing with Galaxy Corporation, one of South Korea’s most important management and entertainment companies, Taemin has accelerated his international presence, including an appearance on the Coachella stage, one of the world’s most important music festivals. Two-day passes are available starting at RON 499 for the General Access category and are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable. The minimum age for participation is 10, and minors aged 10 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
