NIBIRU Real Estate, the company developing the entertainment and leisure project launched this summer in the Costinești area, on the Romanian seaside, has a new shareholder: Inspire Asset Management (I AM), the investment company founded by Iulian Stanciu. The equity participation continues an investment structured in two stages: financing granted to the company in the development phase, before launch, and, subsequently, a direct participation in its capital. The parties have not disclosed the financial details of the transaction. Its closing is subject to obtaining the approval of the Competition Council.
The decision comes after NIBIRU's first season, in which the project proved its ability to attract audiences on a large scale and to build an ecosystem that brings together entertainment, gastronomy, sport, retail, art and experiences for different audiences. In its first season, NIBIRU recorded over two million visits, and together with Beach, Please!, the ecosystem developed in the area exceeded 2.6 million visits.
Beyond audience numbers, the first season also validated the project's economic component. NIBIRU operated as a platform for dozens of operators and entrepreneurs in gastronomy, retail, services and entertainment, and several of the operators present individually passed the one-million-euro threshold in sales over the course of the season.
The NIBIRU model was built so that the destination's development generates opportunities not only for the company operating it, but for the entire ecosystem of entrepreneurs, operators and partners around it.

NIBIRU was conceived from the start as a long-term project, not as an event or a destination built for a single season. The first year served to bring the ecosystem into operation, to validate audience behaviour and the commercial model, and to create the foundation for the next development stages.
For 2027, NIBIRU is preparing the expansion of its existing experiences and infrastructure, the development of new commercial and entertainment concepts, and the consolidation of the ecosystem of operators, entrepreneurs and partners built around the destination.
The stakes of the next stages, however, go beyond the development of a single destination. NIBIRU aims to contribute to the repositioning of the Romanian seaside through private investment, new experiences, infrastructure and by attracting operators and concepts able to increase the diversity and quality of the region's tourism offer.
The partnership with Inspire Asset Management reflects this strategy: developing NIBIRU as a Romanian entrepreneurial project, built with private capital and a long-term perspective, together with entrepreneurs and partners who can contribute capital, experience, know-how and execution capacity.
